  • Man Utd Legend Lashes Out At Glazers Failure. It Cannot Continue.

Gary Neville has hit out at Manchester United’s owners, calling them failures, money wasters, and lacking the knowledge of how to run a successful club.

The former United legend believes the Glazers’ actions are unforgivable, and change must happen soon to stop the rapid decline of the once incredibly successful football institution that is Manchester United.

United fans have had enough and want their club to be run better and are eagerly awaiting developments as the UK’s richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, confirms his interest in buying the club and starting a new successful chapter in the history of one of the biggest clubs on the planet.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “When a business is failing, and it’s not performing, it’s the owners of that business. It’s really simple. It’s failing miserably.

“There is a family over there in America who are just literally letting their employees take all the hits for them, and that is unforgivable.

“But at this moment in time, it is really desperate, really, really desperate. There’s no leadership, there is no voice.

“You can’t blame the individual player or the manager. You’ve got to look above. You have to look to the very top now.

“They’ve proved they can’t handle it these players, so they needed to have a good transfer market. They took 24 million quid out of the club about two months ago.

“We’ve now got a decrepit rotting stadium that is to be fair second rate when it was the best stadium in the world fifteen-twenty years ago.

“You’ve got a football project where they haven’t got a clue. They’ve put bankers in charge of the football club, not making football decisions. they’re not appointed a sporting director, but there are that many big things that need to be put right first.

“They’ve got to show up and basically face the music. now’s the time. You can’t keep hiding it over in Tampa and thinking that nothing’s gonna come back to you.

“So my point is here now that you’ve had failure for over ten years at Manchester United these owners since Sir Alex Ferguson, have proven in 10 years that they cannot manage a forward-thinking football club It’s been overtaken in every single department, and it’s painful.

“At this moment in time, there has been a toxic culture and atmosphere in this great football club for ten year period without its leader Sir Alex Ferguson, and David Gill, who were propping up this football club whilst the family, to be fair, was sat there in America glorifying the fact that they were part of it.

“We are now seeing what has happened without Sir Alex Ferguson, without David Gill, without leadership. We’re now seeing what’s happening. And it’s a mess, and it cannot continue to go on. It can’t. They’ve only got 40 or 50 million pounds cash left in the bank.

“They were cash rich three years ago they had £350m cash in the bank. They’ve no longer got that money in the bank. something’s going to have to give soon. Very very soon.

“Manchester United in the past in the last ten years, have always answered the fans’ anger through money and spending it in the transfer market is now no one wants to take their money.”

Neville makes a lot of good points, and it seems obvious that new ownership is the only way forward for Manchester United, although unfortunately, I don’t think that the Glazers will want to sell unless any offer from Sir Jim Ratcliffe is huge.

  • United in Crisis: Ronaldo to Reveal Truth

Manchester United are in crisis and are facing possibly the worst season in recent history after a nightmare start to the season with losses to Brighton and Brentford.

United fans are furious, worried and seriously concerned about the future of their club as well as the silence of their star forward, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has come in for some stick in recent weeks for not speaking out about the club’s situation and his apparent desire to leave and avoid having the last year or so of his career tainted by the failures at Old Trafford.

However, Ronaldo has stated that he will soon reveal “the truth” about his future after reading so many “lies” this summer.

Despite his desire to leave United, Erik ten Hag, the club’s new manager, has stated that he is “not for sale.”

“They will know the truth when they interview in a couple of weeks,” Ronaldo said on Instagram.

“The media is telling lies. “I have a notebook and in the last few months of the 100 news stories I made, only five were right. Imagine how it is. Stick with that tip.”

It would be such a shame to see Ronaldo go, although it is somewhat understandable that he wouldn’t want to spend any more time in the complete mess that is MUFC.

United are now reportedly ready to allow the 37-year-old to leave before the transfer window closes on September 1st.

  • £55m Striker Definitely on United’s List : Fabrizio Romano

Italian transfer insider, Fabrizio Romano, is reporting that Benjamin Sesko is definitely on Man United’s shopping list despite competition from Newcastle, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund.

It appears Manchester United may be ahead of the pack unless Newcastle fans see the player’s agent’s photograph on social media of him having dinner on Tyneside, is anything to go by.

The giant 6ft 4″ Slovenian striker is currently playing for Redbull Salzburg and the 19-year-old giant forward is being touted as one of the emerging talents in European football.

Benjamin Sesko’s agent met with Manchester United last week, but RB Salzburg don’t want to sell their star striker this window unless they get an offer of more than £55 million, according to The Mail’s Simon Jones and Ash Rose.

The 19-year-old did very well against Liverpool last week, and Manchester United were watching carefully as they were already tracking him as they look to add additional attacking options to their squad.

Sesko started at hometown club Radece before signing a  three-year contract with Red Bull Salzburg. On January 30, 2021, he made his debut against TSV Hartberg.

In May of last year, Sesko was called up by senior team manager Matjaz Kek and debuted for Slovenia in a 1–1 friendly with North Macedonia on 1 June 2021. At 18 years and 1 day old, he became the youngest debutant for the national team.

On 8 October 2021, Sesko scored his first goal for Slovenia in a World Cup qualifier against Malta. He became Slovenia’s youngest ever goalscorer at 18 years, 4 months, and 8 days.
